



With over 14 years in Mining, Energy and Engineering Sectors, Zozo is a qualified Geologist from the University of Witwatersrand. He obtained his BSc degree in Mining Geology and his BSc (Hons) degree in Economic Geology. He also completed his MCom-(Business Management) and now a PhD candidate (Applied Business Management) with the University of Johannesburg and he is a registered member of the Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA), Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) and South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (Pr.Nat.Sci.) After his mining geology qualification Anglo American (base Metals division) in the Northern Cape, where he acquired a wide experience in base metal deposits such as Copper, lead, zinc and silver. He then joined De Beers Group as a Senior Project Geologist in Venetia mine where he was involved in Resource Estimation and Expansion Programme (Capital Exploration Project). He later joined Eskom as a Chief Geologist (Technical Services Manager)-Mineral Resource Management looking after coal procurement, Marketing, coal utilisation, contracts management, reserves and resource validation and general technical & Business support to the Eskom’s Group Commercial Division. His speciality primarily focuses on strategy and policy development. His experience in Mining, Energy, Engineering and Minerals industries, both Technical & Business focus, equips him with a very rare and unique skill coupled with his success track record. He also serves in various industry committees and boards. He has contributed significantly in researches (industry & academic) and development programs by means of presentations, seminars and papers.
